We believe that good health contributes to an improved quality of life. Therefore, we support programs that promote physical and emotional wellness, healthy living behaviors and the well-being for all.
Food Security Initiatives
Healthy Food Distribution: We will distribute healthy food to our neighbors through our partners providing Fresh Produce, Pop-Up Pantry, Meals on Wheels, North Texas Food Bank and CDPs.
Hunger Projects: An event where we mobilize our community to assemble healthy meals for hungry children and families.
Advocacy: Getting like-minded people together to end food insecurity to bring awareness that influences change as we continue being part of the global conversation.
SECURE FAMILIES
We believe in building strong families, which creates resilient communities. Therefore, we promote efforts that offers skills development to enhance an individual’s standard of living and healthy family engagement.
Virtual Financial Education Workshops Is a program that has been developed to provide financial education to our neighbors in partnership with BBVA.

Virtual Parent Cafe United MegaCare strives to promote individual deep self-reflection during the café, while highlighting five protective factors that keep a family strong. Virtual Parent Cafes strengthen partnerships between parents, provide participants with an opportunity to practice positive communication skills and provide a foundation for healing from trauma and increased well-being.

DISASTER RESILIENCY
We believe in serving as a conduit for those adversely impacted by natural disasters. Therefore, we provide a complete suite of services aimed at strengthening resiliency efforts before, during and after the storm. United MegaCare works closely with the local and federal government to coordinate efforts related to disasters deploying volunteers and resources to assist as needed domestically and internationally.
EDUCATION
We believe the attainment of a quality education is the foundation for a good quality of life.
Therefore, we offer programs designed to support access, enhance achievement, and education equity for all.

United MegaCare (UMC) is a compassionate organization and finds inspiration from its founder T.D. Jakes. Since 1997, UMC has served vulnerable communities and the disadvantaged locally, nationally and globally.
